This bar is located in Waterloo station. When I waited a train for Feltham, I used this. You know London Waterloo station is very big station. With 124 million travelers passing through this station every year, I wanted to escape from the crowds and to drink craft beers. So looking for a bar to drink beer in the station, I found this bar opposite Platform 2 and 3 on the main concourse.
This bar is serving up a brilliant range of big name beers, local heroes and classic crafts. Proper prints, awesome food and all with huge amounts of modesty. Maybe, as long as I remember, there are three or four keg taps of mainly larger, Guinness Ice Cold, one Meantime Special and Brewdog 5am Saint and a handful of craft bottles/non-craft bottles such as Sierra Nevada, Cerveza Cristal, Duval, Samuel Adams, Camden Town Helles. Not at all extensive and i expected to find at least one rare beer on keg. Instead what you can say is that they have something good to drink, beyond the standard pub fare.
The hamburger's served here also looked good, but I didn't try one. -

As a place to have a drink to get away from the noise and all the crowds at Waterloo station this place is okay. However, by calling somewhere the beer house it is fair to expect a better than average range of beers and this is where things go wrong with this place.
Essentially the beer house is just the same as any other okay green king pub. I struggled to find a single beer that was different from what I could find in my local green king pub. Even the adverts promoting the food on offer are the same as elsewhere. Thankfully nowadays there are better pubs serving a wide range of beer close by. -

The ultimate breakfast was on point! Expect one portion, sausage was not cooked just right for me. It was cooked but the inside was still not hard enough and popping lol but his place gives you the best breakfast i ever been yet:)

A subterranean bar tucked away in the corner of Waterloo Station. I often find myself escaping the bustle of the station and waiting for my train down here.
It's a nice clean setting which is subdivided into several distinct seating areas, there is normally a decent selection of beers on offer and they offer taster glasses of 1/3rd of a pint if you fancy trying a few.
Occasionally it can be pretty busy (standing room only) but I usually find a seat.
If you put this place on my local high street I would probably have given it a 3* rating, it's nice but it won't blow you away. However, I'm giving it an extra star as it is better than most transit hub based bars I've frequented elsewhere. -

I have experienced The Beer House many times in their Charing Cross location. That one massively pails in comparison to the one in Waterloo station. It is quite big, has a lot more bar room, quick staff, and doesn't feel cramped. We got a table quite easily and the beers weren't too overpriced, just slightly. Regardless, their selection of craft beers is quite good as were their selection of ales. Not that I am in Waterloo station much, but this would definitely be a place a more regularly frequent if that were the case!
